Most lenders we speak to have the same worry before switching software: what if my agents don't use it? It's a fair worry. A collection app only pays for itself if the person standing outside a borrower's shop at 8am actually opens it.
So we've stopped asking you to take that on faith. We're opening a 45-day risk-free trial of Vasool to the next 100+ money lenders and finance companies who register. You pay ₹700 to start — all-in, GST included, nothing added at checkout — we walk you through a live demo, and you run your real collection book on it for 45 days. If at any point in those 45 days it isn't working for you, tell us and we refund the ₹700.

What you get in the 45 days
This is not a cut-down demo account. It is the product, with your data in it:
- Voice entry in six Indian languages plus English — agents speak the amount instead of typing it. See how it works on the voice entry collection app page.
- Live GPS tracking and route history for every field staff member.
- Photo proof and timestamps on every collection entry.
- Offline mode — collections recorded on a dead-signal route sync the moment the phone finds a network.
- Your loan type, whether that's daily, weekly, EMI, gold, product-backed, or interest-only kandhu vatti.
- Unlimited staff accounts with role-based access.
Forty-five days is deliberate. Two weeks tells you whether the app installs. Forty-five days tells you whether your agents kept using it after the novelty wore off, and whether your closing balance at month-end matched what the app said it should be.
Why ₹700 and not free?
We'll be straight with you, because you'd find out anyway.
A genuinely free trial fills up with people who were never going to run a book on it. Our onboarding team then spends its week on tyre-kickers instead of on the lender who has 300 live accounts and a real migration to do.
There's a second reason, and it's simpler: serving you costs us money from day one. Voice transcription, servers, and WhatsApp messages are metered — we pay for them whether you stay or leave. A free trial at any real scale would mean funding strangers' infrastructure bills indefinitely.
We've also explained this on camera, in about a minute:
And rather than ask you to take any of it on trust, here are the actual numbers.
Where your ₹700 actually goes
This is our real cost to serve one customer for one month. We're publishing it because you're a lender — you understand a cost sheet better than you understand a marketing page.
| Line item | Amount | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay | ₹700 | All-in. GST included, nothing added at checkout |
| GST @ 18% | −₹107 | Collected from you and paid to the government — it never stays with us |
| Net revenue to us | ₹593 | |
| Server infrastructure | −₹150 | Your share of a ₹1,000 server, split across the customers on it |
| Voice compute | −₹70 | Transcription at ₹35 per hour of voice input, ~2 hours per customer |
| Third-party AI models | −₹30 | Capped at ₹30 per model, per customer — a hard ceiling, not an estimate |
| WhatsApp / SMS | −₹100 | 500 messages included at ₹0.15 each, budgeted with headroom |
| Development & marketing | −₹150 | Amortised build cost and what it cost to reach you |
| What we actually keep | ₹93 | About 16% |
A few things worth pointing out, because they affect you directly.
GST isn't ours to keep. Of the ₹700, about ₹107 is GST. We collect it, we file it, we hand it over — it never becomes revenue. We've shown it as a deduction rather than a cost because that's what it is, and because the alternative (quoting you ₹593 and adding tax at checkout) is how you end up paying more than the number you were shown.
The caps are real caps. The ₹30 per model and the ₹100 messaging budget are ceilings we enforce on our side, not averages we hope hold. That's deliberate: a business whose costs can run away has to protect itself with fine print and surprise overage bills. Ours can't run away, so we don't need the fine print.
The server line gets better as we grow, and the voice line doesn't. Splitting a server across more customers is cheap. Transcribing an hour of a field agent's voice costs what it costs, forever. So when you see lending software promising unlimited everything for ₹99/month, look for where the voice feature is — usually it isn't there, or it's a paid add-on.
₹93 a month is a thin margin, and that's the point. It is not a rounding error we're hiding — it's roughly 16 paise on the rupee, before anyone at Thukal is paid a salary. We'd rather earn ₹93 from a lender who stays four years than ₹2,000 from one who leaves in three months feeling fleeced.
And on the trial specifically, we lose money
Run the same maths across 45 days instead of 30:
- Cost to serve you for 45 days: ₹750
- What actually reaches us after GST: ₹593
Every trial we run puts us about ₹157 in the hole before we have earned a single rupee — and out the full ₹750 of service already delivered if you ask for the refund on day 44.
That only works if enough of you stay past day 45. Which is precisely the incentive we want: the only way this trial makes us money is if the product is good enough that you don't want the ₹700 back.
And it is genuinely cheaper than the regular plan. The Standard plan is ₹699/month plus GST — about ₹825 all-in. Forty-five days at that rate would be roughly ₹1,240. You're paying ₹700, tax included, for the same period.
And the refund is genuinely unconditional. If it isn't working for you on day 3 or on day 44, message us and we return the ₹700 — no exit interview, no "let us try one more thing first".
How the trial works, step by step
- Register using the trial registration form. It takes about two minutes — business name, loan type, number of field staff.
- Pay ₹700 to confirm your slot.
- Take the demo. We show you the manager dashboard, the agent app, and how a day's collections flow from the field to your closing report.
- Set up your book. We help you load your loan products, staff accounts, and existing borrowers.
- Run it for 45 days on your real routes, with your real agents.
- Decide. Continue on the standard plan, or ask for your refund.
What happens on day 46
Nothing dramatic — and nothing automatic that you didn't agree to.
If you continue, you move onto the standard plan at ₹699/month for one loan product, exclusive of GST. That's the same published price on our pricing page that every other customer pays: unlimited staff accounts, live location tracking, route and history tracking, role-based access, and reports. No "trial customer" surcharge, and no premium tier hiding the location tracking behind it.
Running more than one loan product? Tell us during the trial and we'll tailor a plan around the number of products and the size of your book.
Who should take this trial
Be honest with yourself about fit. This trial is worth your ₹700 if:
- You run field collections — daily, weekly, or monthly — with at least one agent on a route.
- Your collections are currently tracked in a notebook, a diary, or a spreadsheet that gets reconciled a day or a week later.
- You've had at least one argument about whether a visit actually happened.
- You're a money lender, finance company, NBFC, or chit fund operator, in India or in one of the countries we support.
If you lend entirely over bank transfer with no field staff, a collection app is not your bottleneck, and we'd rather tell you that now than take your ₹700.
Why we're capping the first batch
Onboarding a lender properly — migrating a borrower list, training agents, sitting with a manager while the first day's collections come in — takes real hours from real people on our team. We can do that well for around a hundred businesses at a time. We can't do it well for a thousand at once, and a badly onboarded trial is a wasted 45 days for you.
So the first 100+ registrations get the full hands-on onboarding. After that, we'll keep taking registrations, but the demo and setup slots move to the next batch.
You have forty-five days and a refund to fall back on. The only thing you're actually risking is the two minutes it takes to fill in the form.
